Audi Will Buy Alfa Romeo ?

TURIN - Fiat CEO, Sergio Marchionne, has refused to sell the trademark Alfa Romeo to Volkswagen, but the original Italian company may be sold to the German manufacturer, which has a base in the city of Ingolstadt, Audi.

According Wardsauto (3/30/13), Alfa Romeo was in the final process in their top-level negotiations between Audi and Fiat. Meanwhile, according to Audi, Alfa Romeo could eventually sold to Volkswagen.

Furthermore, Audi reported interest in that they not only buy Alfa Romeo, but also plants and Magneti Marelli Pomigliano auto parts. Since Pomigliano built in 1960 and then, is a special factory to manufacture Alfa Romeo, but later used to create the Fiat Panda.

However both the Fiat and Audi still denies all this speculation, so we can be heard on this issue, because it will last a little longer.

Since Fiat is experiencing severe financial conditions, it will be interesting look forward to their true focus. While Audi on the other hand already has three companies from Italy, including Lamborghini, Ducati motorcycles, and manufacturers design Italdesign-Giugiaro.
