TOKYO - A picture of the Toyota FT-86 Concept Open with a retractable roof appeared in cyberspace. Open Concept presence of 86 this could be a sign of Toyota will soon launch it.
Toyota FT-86 Open Concept was introduced to the public in March, at the Paris Motor Show 2013. Now back an image of the 86 new concept emerged, but complete with a fabric roof.
Folding fabric roof that is integrated with the rear glass. This model is allegedly going to be a production version of the Toyota FT-86 Concept Open.
New concept FT-86 will come with a 2 +2 seat format. Still using the same platform with the regular version of the engine. Platform and the machine used Toyota GT 86 and Scion FR-S, or Subaru BRZ.
Boxer engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters which is made by Subaru. Engine injection system combined with Toyota's D-4D. This machine is capable of throwing power 200 HP (147 kW) and torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft). Power is channeled to the rear wheels by a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission.
